This one has the 390. I’m sure the more modern seats are a lot more comfortable, but I’m not sure I approve of them. Look at that monster radiator!

Very nice!

As far as the seats; it would depend on what the new owner does with the truck. If it was just going to be driving it to and from car shows I’d prefer the original bench.

Personally, I’d want to hook a vintage travel trailer to that hitch and go camping. In that case give me the buckets for sure. One of the trucks at work has that style of seat, and it is so much more comfortable than the original bench would be.

I am totally with you on that. I’d buy the truck to use it for its original intent. And if so, I’d probably want the updated seats.

Noice.

If it was mine, though, I’d probably drop in a 7.3 diesel.

Right there with both of you on those seats. I don’t love the look, but I’m sure they’re more functional if you’re using the truck as intended.

Love this truck overall.

The feels. This reminds me of grandpa’s truck when I was a child. His was this gold flake brown and tan, with the 460 and single cab. I’m pretty sure it also had some heavy duty suspension because he had a really huge/heavy topper on it and used it to tow the biggest (non 5th wheel) travel trailer available...

I’d choose different seats. Something “squarer.”

I wouldn’t be surprised to see it go past that amount. Really clean specimen, but those seats don’t make the cut afaiac.

My thoughts exactly. This truck needs a plaid bench.

I’m super picky about seats. Very few make the cut. Maybe something out of a late model Supercab or something similar. But the ones he has, circa 1995, are just wrong .
